"Ready~Action! 18" is a platform where the dreams, imagination, and bold questions of young people come together. This year’s selections leave a profound impression, telling personal stories with polished direction and authentic points of view. 

What stands out most is the breadth of the work, spanning everyday struggles as well as urgent social issues like the environment, artificial intelligence, and war. Across formats including documentary, animation, and stop-motion, these young filmmakers communicate their ideas with clarity and impact, demonstrating just how much creative potential they hold.  

Refusing to be confined by convention, these films engage with the world in their own way. At times they raise questions; at others, they open the door to new possibilities. Through the language of cinema, they give voice to a generation, and in doing so, invite audiences to see the present and reflect on the future alongside them. 

We hope the films of "Ready~Action! 18" will reach far beyond the festival into the wider world, sparking meaningful conversations and an exchange of ideas.
