Program Note

Min-seo has Retinitis Pigmentosa, a hereditary eye condition. At her mother's urging, she transfers to the Daejeon School for the Blind. She struggles to fit in at first, but then joins a Goalball club. Through the sport, she discovers a world she never knew. Together with her new friends, she enters a Goalball tournament.

LEE Min-seo began filmmaking at CENEGONGBANG in elementary school and is now in middle school. She has been a quiet, committed filmmaker since fifth grade — and her growing list of awards shows it. Her work carries both strong directorial instinct and a genuine depth of perspective. We look forward to watching her cinematic palette deepen and her voice grow even further.
