Program Note

A hedgehog girl lives cut off from the world in a lighthouse with her overprotective brother. One day, she comes across a rabbit who has lost his memory, and in helping him, she finally discovers the adventure and freedom she has always dreamed of. The film follows the thrilling journey of a hedgehog as she takes her first steps into an unfamiliar world. Through twists and turns, two very different characters form an unlikely friendship and find their way to their true selves in a story told with warmth and a light touch.

Caroline Origer

Caroline Origer's passion for animation began when she moved to Paris to study fine arts. She quickly gravitated toward animation and screenwriting. After nearly fifteen years at various animation studios and production companies, working in compositing, special effects, and animation, she achieved her first directorial success with the animated series <POLO>(2015), selected at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. She is now in pre-production on her third feature <POLES APART>, produced by Fabrique d'Images.
