At risk of being cut from the recorder ensemble, Rong-Chen turns to her talented classmate Shao-Yu for help. Though he is about to leave the ensemble due to a lung condition, he agrees to practice with her after school, and the two gradually grow closer. Thanks to his guidance, Rong-Chen’s skills improve noticeably, but she soon begins to sense that there may be another reason behind his decision to leave. This short film delicately and quietly traces the budding friendship between two children and the hidden story beneath it.
