Mahashweta Burma grew up in her parents' laboratory, where curiosity, discipline, and a spirit of experimentation shaped her creative world. An alumna of St. Stephen's College, Delhi, and FTII Pune, she approaches filmmaking as a blend of science and magic — valuing kindness and empathy on set above all else. She works fluidly across music videos, documentaries, commercials, and animation, treating every project as an experiment. When not building worlds on set, she is busy petting every dog she meets.
