Program Note
A playful 2D animated short produced by Miyu Productions in 2025, this film is a coastal reimagining of the classic fairy tale The Princess and the Pea. Part of the Once There Is... series, which adapts traditional folklore into seaside settings, it swaps the pea for a sea urchin spine. Set along the shores of the Goudes district in Marseille, the story follows a young "princess" on a humorous quest to find a suitor brave enough to face the prickles of the sea.

Following his debut with the Canal+-broadcast short <DANS LE NEZ: LA ROMANTIQUE DES FLUIDS>, he gained widespread recognition with <BUBBLE BLUES>, which was selected for more than 20 international festivals and won numerous awards. After directing the animated series <LITTLE MALABAR> in partnership with Tchack and France Télévisions, he is currently helming its second season while developing a new animated series titled <TILT>, co-written with actor Esteban.
