Program Note
When the birds of the world gather to choose their king, a golden eagle seizes the throne, certain that no other creature is worthy of the crown. No one dares to challenge him, until a tiny goldcrest steps forward and, in a small but fearless voice, stakes its claim. The eagle accepts: whoever flies highest in the sky shall be king. A delightful animation about the power of courage and wit over size and brute strength.
